Panaji (Goa) Fisheries minister Vinod Paliencar has said that he was being targeted by few people “because he is performing as a minister and from Bahujan Samaj.”

Paliencar was reacting to the development wherein social activist Aires Rodrigues was seen in a video clip being attacked by a group of people allegedly for posting a picture on facebook. The authenticity of the video could not be established but Rodrigues had accused Paliencar of intimidating him.

“ I have no idea what one so called Aires Rodrigues is speaking. I am busy with the department work . I held series of meeting with regards to Aqua Fish Festival 2017,” Paliencar said to written questioned asked by The Neutral View.

“I come from a cultured family. As I am performing as a minister and from Bahujan Samaj. I am being targeted by certain individuals who can’t see my and Goa Forward growth,” he alleged.
