GOA: IF TAXI STRIKE IS NOT WITHDRAWN WE WILL CALL UBER/OLA: SUDIN DHAVALIKAR

Transport Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has said that if taxi operators don’t withdraw their strike, government is contemplating to invite Ola or Uber to operate in Goa.

This is what Dhavalikar has said in a statement released here today:

Government has Taken a strong view Against all those taxi operators who have been hired by Various Govt departments for official work And have not reported to work due to the illegal taxi strike. I have directed the concerned Govt departments to send a report to the Government and we shall decide on their termination and suspension of permits  in due course of time.  

Further Hon minister has stated that if the illegal taxi strike is not withdrawn by Saturday , then the transport department shall invite leading taxi aggregators like Uber and Ola to operate in Goa For which entire responsibility shall lie upon the office bearers of the taxi union.
