Panaji (Goa) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gradually getting into the Lok sabha assembly mode. The party has decided to hit the constituencies with its chief minister Manohar Parrikar. And the journey has begun from Sankhalim constituency.
“During Amit Shah’s visit to the state, it was suggested that chief minister should visit all the constituencies along with the party MLA from respective areas,” BJP Goa Unit Chief Vinay Tendulkar told reporters.
He said that the local unit has already started implementing the suggestion by national president as a part of which chief minister Manohar Parrikar recently visited Sankhalim constituency.
“In the months of November and December, the chief minister will visit seven to eight constituencies and interact with the workers,” Tendulkar said adding that the party will expand its base in all the constituencies.
State General Secretary Sadanand Tanawade said that the party has already taken up the initiative of ‘booth vistar yojana’ under which twenty-two constituencies are covered at this point of time.
“We will be covering rest of the constituencies in the days to come. BJP is expanding its strength at booth level in all the constituencies,” he said.
