GOA: MAHILA CONGRESS ASK POLICE NOT TO FALL FOR POLITICAL PRESSURE IN ANIL HOBLE CASE

Panaji (GOA): The Goa Mahila Congress Committee (GMCC) on Friday demanded through investigation into the dowry harassment cases involving BJP vice president Anil Hoble and his family.

GMCC delegation led by President Pratima Coutinho met PSI Sandhya Gupta, investigating the case, expressing every possibility that there would be political pressure to weaken up the case.

The delegation urged police not to succumb to political pressure and carry out detail investigation giving justice to victim, daughter in-law of Hoble Shweta.

“Hoble being from ruling party, there is every possibility that government will try to harsh up the case. Police will be under pressure. But we demand that police should not fall for political pressure and give justice to Shweta,” she told reporters.

Anil Hoble, his wife Sandhya and son Milind are booked by police for assaulting and demanding dowry.
