Panaji (Goa): Vinsan Graphics is all set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Goa Marathi Film Festival. The event is scheduled to take place from 16th to 18th June, 2017 at Kala Academy, Maquinez Palace and Inox in Panjim.
The festival will screen National Award Winning Films such as Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande (Premiere on 16th June), Sanchar (Premiere on 17thJune), Take Care Goodnight (Premiere on 17th June), Conditions Apply (Ati Lagu), Bhwaa, Cycle, Dashakriya, Dr. Rakhmabai, F.U., Kaasav, Nadi Vaahate, Ventilator, Chi Va Chi Sau Ka, Oli Ki Suki, Disha, Muramba, Half Ticket, Aaba Eikatay Naa (short film), Bobble Head (short film), Chaukat (short film) and Saavat (short film).
Bollywood Actress Divya Dutta will make a special appearance at the GMFF inaugural. With more than 60 films in her kitty, the celeb has won more than 25 awards in the film industry including Filmfare and Zee Cine awards, IIFA and Star Screen awards. Other prominent actors attending the event include Sai Tamhankar, Gajendra Ahire, Sachin Pilgaonkar (recipient of the Krutadnyata Puraskar), Swapnil Joshi, Nagesh Bhosle, Sonali Kulkarni, Paresh Mokashi, Rajesh Sringarpure, Ankush Chaudari, Sachin Kedekar, Bhau Kadam, Kushal Badrike, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Anant Mahadevan, Subodh Bave and many more.
Speaking on this occasion, Sanjay Shetye, Festival Director said “We are glad to have Godrej No. 1 on board with us as our associate sponsor. Sai Tamhankar will be awarded The Ever Fresh Face of Marathi Cinema by Godrej No. 1 Awards.” The Indian Academy awards will also be an associate for the 10th edition of the Goa Marathi Film Festival.
