GOA: MARCH 31, DEADLINE TO MAKE PAYMENT TOWARDS REGULARIZING YOUR HOUSE

Panaji (Goa): State Cabinet today fixed March 31, 2018 as the cut off day for depositing money towards processing applications for regularization of illegal houses, built in one’s own property.

Addressing press conference post cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said that there are several applicants who have not paid the processing fee of Rs 10,000 but have just made applications.

“March 31, is the cut off date to make the payment. After that we are not going to grant any exemption or extension,” he said.

“Only those applications, whose payments are paid before March 31, will be considered for regularization process,” he added.

Chief Minister informed that around 5000-6000 applications have been received by the Revenue department towards regularization.
