GOA: NEW TWIST IN IRB CONSTABLE’S SUICIDE AT PORVORIM

Porvorim (Goa) The Porvorim police have stumbled upon a revelation that could possibly bring a new twist into the death of head constable of Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) Kishor Shirodkar. The young cop whose mysterious death is being probed as homicide was under huge loan debt. A source said that he had taken Personal Loan of Rs 27 lakh but the purpose for the huge loan is not ascertained yet.
“We will call Shirodkar’s wife to throw some light on this revelation. Since it was personal loan, neither the bank nor are expected aware for what purpose was he had taken,” said the source.
Over a week after his body was suspiciously found in the compound of National Institute of Open School, the family lodged a complaint of murder naming two persons as suspects. The two suspects Rupesh Sawal and Prasad Pednekar who are relatives of the deceased are beige interrogated even as arrest is ruled out at this stage. Bruises on his face, torn shirt on his shoulder, a blue plastic nearly stuffed in his mouth raised suspicion of murder. The autopsy report however stated that the bruises were ant bites.
