GOA: OMAN AIR FLIGHT TO GOA MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING WITH ONLY ONE ENGINE

Vasco (Goa): Oman Air with 63 passengers flight flying between Muscat to Goa made emergency landing at Goa airport due to technical snag, an airport official said.

The flight which had left from Muscat airport at 2.55 pm for Goa developed technical snag with one of the engine failing to function, an official at Goa airport stated.

The pilot informed Goa airport about emergency landing to the staff which had kept all the measures ready for emergency landing. The flight successfully landed at 7.40 pm.

“There was an emergency landing of Oman Air flight today. It is a daily flight and one engine had failed. The pilot had informed the ground staff and all measures were in place,” Goa airport director B C H Negi said.
