GOA: PARRIKAR MISSES DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF DAYANAND BANDODKAR

Panaji (Goa) Due to Code of conduct, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar could not attend the death anniversary event of first CM Dayanand Bandodkar.
“Due to code of conduct, I regret not being able to participate in the official function to pay homage to Shri Dayanand Bandodkar on his punyatithi. My respect to the great leader,” the chief minister has said in a statement released here.
The state is observing death anniversary of Bandodkar who died on August 12, 1973. He was the first chief minister of the State after the territory was liberated from Portuguese rule.
