PANAJI (GOA): The St. Cruz post office has been paralysed due to server problem because of which the regular work or any transactions of the post office could not be executed. There was no electricity in the post office for the last two days due to which the situation got even worse.
The authorities responsible are not doing anything to restore the situation alleged the locals from St. Cruz.
“I have been visiting the post office for the last three days. First they told me that the server was down, and now they say there is no electricity. If the government has set up a post office to cater to the needs of the people, they should make sure that it is in a good and working condition. If you wait here and see, you will notice that every two minutes someone coming to the post office is being sent back due to server problem or electricity problem. Post office is mostly used by middle class people or lower income people, so I request the government to please look into this matter,” said Domnick Pereira, a local from St. Cruz village.
