Porvorim (Goa) Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today told the House the culprit involed in desecrating Crosses at Marcaim would be arrested in next three-four days.
The issue was raised on the floor of the House by Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar who pointed out that despite arrest of Francis Pereira the desecration continues.

“We can’t assure that no one will take inspiration from him. He (Francis Pereira) has shown 146 places where he had desecrated,” Parrikar said.

“Even in some cases, there was no police complaint filed. He has broken everything that he could see to liberate the soul,” he said.

“About Marcaim he has said that he has not done it. FIR is filed. There can be lot of angle. Police have got definite clue on what has happened. Give them three four more days they will arrest the culprit,” Parrikar said.
