Porvorim (Goa) Government will study the increasing number of kidney cases at Canacona. This would be the third study as first two studies remained inconclusive.
“In the past two agencies had conducted the survey but the reports were inconclusive. If you want, the fresh surveys can be initiated through World Health Organisation or any agency,” Health minister Vishwajit Rane said responding to a Question tabled by Congress legislator Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco.
The minister assured the House that the Health department will inquire into the instance of giving dialysis for the patients at early stage , when it is supposed to be given at the later.
Rane in his written reply has stated that there are total 57 patients who are on dialysis during last two years from Canacona taluka.
