Panaji (Goa) Shiv Sena today said that they will acting as main opposition in the State as Congress has failed to play the role. There is a government in the State but there is o oppositon, sena has said.

“Unfortunatly the Congress has failed to act as a formidable opposition in the State of Goa. There is no government in the State but there is no opposition to it. We will be functioning as main opposition party in Goa,” Sena leader Sanjay Raut told reporters in Panaji today.

He said that the Sena is even ready to take on the streets for the cause of people against the government’s policies. “There is strong resentment against the current State government amongst the people but no one is daring to speak out,” Raut said.

He said that the opposition party leaders are afraid to speak out against the government as they are threatened of consequences if they do that.

The Sena leader said that the party will expand its base across the State in every village. “We have acceptance in Goa and we will encash on it,” he said.
