GOA: STATE GETS RS 81.69 CRORE UNDER PM MUDRA YOJANA

Panaji (Goa) Union Minister of State for AYUSH Shripad Naik today said that under Prime Minister’s Mudra Yojana Rs 81.69 crore has been approved in the State of Goa benefitting 7,319 beneficiaries.
Naik was speaking during the promotion of ‘Pradhanmantri Mudra Yojana’ camp held in Panaji. 
The minister said that under this scheme the Centre has approved loans to 9.13 crore beneficiaries throughout the country.
“In the state of Goa loans to the tune of Rs. 81.69 crore approved to 7,319 beneficiaries,” he said appealing people to avail the benefits of ‘Mudra Yojana’ as well as other central government schemes. 
The main objective of the ‘Mudra Yojana’ is to funding the unfunded, said Naik adding that the Scheme aims to provide financial security to entrepreneurs and small businessmen.
“Direct Benefit Transfer has ensured transparency, as money has been given directly into the bank accounts of needy,” the minister said. 
Naik explained the people about ‘Mudra Yojna’ and various other schemes such as ‘Start Up India’, ‘Stand Up India’.
