Q. HOW MUCH OF BEING GOAN HELPS YOU IN PERCEIVING YOUR CAREER IN FASHION? (MEANS WHETHER IT HELPS BEING A GOAN).

Answer: Creativity is in the blood of Goa. I am proud to be a Goan designer. When i introduced myself as a Goan designer, it gives me pride. Only thing unless you perform in major cities of the country you cannot project the experience in your own home state.

Q. WHY DID YOU THINK OF CROSSING BORDERS AND LEAVING GOA? IS THERE NO FUTURE FOR FASHION DESIGNERS IN GOA?

Answer: I want to be known as Goan fashion Designer in the entire country/ world. I am representing Goa in my field. I have a dream, with all the experience in our own country; I should present everything in my home state. There is a future for fashion designers…… but unexplored.

Q. DO YOU THINK INDIANS ARE IN SYNC WITH THE INTERNATIONAL TRENDS IN FASHION?

Answer: Yes Indians are in sync with international trends in fashion because many styles and silhouettes are inspired from ancient Indian style of dressing and various cultures of India.

Q. WHO IS YOUR MENTOR IN FASHION DESIGNING?

Answer: Well…..My biggest mentor in fashion is my HOD Mrs. Raju Bhatia. HOW MUCH OF INDIAN CULTURE IS REPLICATED IN FASHION PRODUCTS? 70-80% is replicated in Indian products because India has that beauty to create an art piece or a statement piece. Developing new textures and surface ornamentation, so people really look up to what is happening in Indian fashion market and replicate in their clothing line.

Q. ACCORDING TO YOU, WHO IS THE BEST DRESSED HINDI FILM PERSONALITY, AND WHY?

Answer: Ranveer singh on any given occasion, certainly tops anybody. Sonam kapoor she is always well dressed, hence always under camera, she can carry off any look. Everything looks effortless on her.

Q. ACCORDING TO YOU, WHO IS THE BEST DRESSED INDIAN POLITICIAN AND WHY?

Answer: Mr. Narendra Modi for promoting our own Indian Khadi culture.

Q. WHAT ARE YOUR FASHION TIPS FOR MEN AND WOMEN DURING MONSOONS?

Answer: For women will be seeing lot of pastel floral prints. Crop tops with boxy jacket. Very boho look, easy to wear and light weight fabric. For men colours this season would be contrast. Lot of patchwork will be seen on jackets of light weight fabric clubbed with folded hem and crop pants will be seen in the lower bottoms.

Q. TELL US ABOUT YOUR BRAND LABEL AND WHAT HAS GONE INTO IT TO MAKE IT INNOVATIVE AND DIFFERENT.

Answer: My aim is to at create fashion statements in terms of style and design. My nature is to accommodate a style which stamps an impression on the fashion lovers. Pranjal Kadkade is about being trendy, stylish, funky, elegant & yet rooted to the traditions. The USP of the brand is its ability to mesh western and Indian silhouettes.

Q. WHO ARE THE PEOPLE WITHOUT WHOM REACHING HERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE?

Answer: Well…it was not an easy task for a girl from non fashion background and from Bicholim Goa, to create her Label and her mark in the Fashion Industry. I would like to thank my parents for my good upbringing, for supporting me to achieve my dreams by sacrificing their wishes. My Father is my Idol and Mentor a special mention to my grandparents who made my life comfortable in Mumbai and also my team who have worked tirelessly and shared my dreams and a special thanks to everyone who believed in me and my work.
