Goa’s Tanisha Crasto along with her partner Aditi Bhatt from Uttarakhand have stormed into the semi-finals of the Yonex Sunrise All India Junior (U-19) Ranking Badminton Tournament 2018 at Tirupur, Tamilnadu.

In the pre-quarters, they knocked out Kerala’s sixth-seeded pair of Treesa Jolly and Varsha Venkatesh 19-21,21-16, 21-13 followed by another sensational 13-21, 23-21, 27-25 upset win over the second seeds from Uttar Pradesh, Shruti Mishra and Samriddhi Singh. In the semi-finals, they will be up against the third seeds Srishti Jupudi (TS) and Preethi K (AP).
