Goa Minister for Art and Culture Govind Gaude released the first Konkani video song “Mangal Murti Morya” at a function held in the art room of the office of Art and Culture at Patto in the city on Saturday.
The lyrics of the video is written by well-known writer, author, poet and lyricist John Aguiar and has been composed and sung by well-known musician Mukesh Ghatwal.
Gaude, while addressing the function, said he was delighted to learn that first of its kind Konkani video song in praise of Lord Ganesha was being launched.
He said the making of video song on Ganesha in Konkani would be another milestone in taking up Konkani language ahead.
He appealed to the people to welcome, appreciate the Konkani video song on Ganesha as a token of response.
