Panaji (Goa) State government has appointed new committees for 27 communidades in South Goa for the period from 2016-2018

The committees were constituted after the Administrator of Communidade failed to elect new managing committees.

The committees are appointed in the talukas of Salcete, Mormugao, Loliem-Polem, Quepem and Sanguem based on the names recommended by the Deputy Collector South.

Communidades in Salcete Taluka includes Assolna, Dramapur, Dicarpale, Sarzora, Sirlim, Ambelim, Seraulim, Duncolim, Cana, Vanelim, Gandaulim, Macasana, Guirdolim, Betalbatim, Benaulim, Sernabatim, Varca, Calata and Gonsua.

Quelossim in Mormugao and Loliem-Polem in Canacona taluka and Sirvoi, Adnem, Caurem in Quepem taluka while in Sanguem taluka the communidades include Rivona and Astragar.
