NEW DELHI
Goa Forward Party (GFP) president Vijai Sardesai slammed the ruling party on the mining issue and said that those in the government are “high on drama and low on action”.
Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai met representatives of mining dependents at Ram Leela Maidan in Delhi.
Sardesai further said that BJP leaders should stop giving empty speeches and do something concrete so that mining operations can restart as soon as possible.
“We need to give relief to around 3 lakh people dependent on mining and restart it immediately as it is the backbone of Goan economy,” Sardesai said.
