Curtorim MLA Alex Reginald Lourenco has raised concern over the issue of non-Goans changing their names to Goan names.

“This is a serious concern and the state government needs to initiate a thorough investigation in this matter,” Reginald said.

The Congress MLA further said that just chanting ‘Goem, Goemkar, Goemkarpon’ won’t save Goa’s authenticity.
