Agriculture Minister Vijai Sardesai today said the state government was planning to implement a scheme to promote the integrated farming concept.

Sardesai was speaking at paddy farmers’ meeting organised by NABARD and Indian Centre for Agricultural Research

“For those who undertake integrated farming project, we are planning to design a separate scheme to support it along with NABARD and ICAR. We can help it under community farming or any other scheme,” Sardesai said.

“The integrated farming concept will have fisheries, poultry, dairy and agriculture together in one project,” he said.
