GTDC’s Sunday monsoon trekking expedition heads to Budruk Shelop on Sunday, July 15. The place is known for its small seasonal cascades, which is bursting rich with Goa ’s bio-diversity at this time of the year. One can get the thrills of soaking oneself at the different cascades of Budruk Shelop. This Sunday’s trek also has a mix of history and adventure.  For those who would like to relish a slice of history,  a visit to the BRAHMA TEMPLE at BRAHMAKARMALI is on the itinerary.

The trek will cover a distance of 4 kms through semi forests, slippery rocky terrain,  running rivulets,  lush greenery and cover three cascades. The trekking expedition is open to all.

Transport arrangements have been made from Mapusa & Margao at 7.30 a.m. and from Panaji at 8.30 a.m.  Pick up facility will also be available from Old Goa,  Banasthari,  Sankhali & Birla junction. Lunch will be served by the villagers of Shelpya.

Interested trekkers are requested to carry along an extra pair of clothes, rainwear, trekking shoes, drinking water, snacks and binoculars.  No smoking and consumption of alcohol will be permitted.

The charges for the trek including lunch Rs. 800/-  per person only.

The expedition is not recommended for those who are physically unfit.
