The High Court of Bombay at Goa has issued an order directing the state’s Panchayat and Municipality bodies to identify and clean the roadside garbage which is increasing day-by-day.

Justice Mahesh Sonak and Justice Prithviraj Chavan have also directed the government to submit a report on waste treatment facilities.  

The Bench has given a deadline of January 23 to Municipalities and Panchayats to carry out the cleanup work and submit a compliance report.
