GOA: The festival of colours, Holi, was celebrated today with traditional fervour and gaiety across State.

The celebration that begin early morning continued till afternoon. Right from kids to senior citizens were seen enjoying the festival of colour.

Not just the members of the Hindu community but cutting across religion, the festival was celebrated the by splashing colours on their family and friends.

Azad maidan in capital city Panaji witnessed the annual holi celebration. 

The Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, the local MLA, due to his ill health was not able to participate this year. Parrikar, use to annually participate in the holi celebration at Azad maidan.

MLAs participated in the holi celebration in their respective constituencies.
