Tell us something about yourself
Acknowledging the importance of hospitality in today’s world and for the love of speaking and encountering different people, I’m currently pursuing my B.sc degree in International Hospitality Management from V.M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education, Raia. I would love to describe myself as a very optimistic person who believes in the power of positivity. I am a self-believer and an ardent singer. My epitome of success has always been my mother. She’s the one I always look up to and aspire to be. I’ve always been inclined towards cooking and modelling. I hope to inspire people by my credentials and avidity for modelling.
What inclined you towards modelling, and are you looking forward to it as a full-time profession?
Modelling is diverse and allows you to channel whatever style you prefer. The various styles available keep the job riveting and inspiring. I’ve always had a keen interest in fashion and I believe that I possess the vital statistics needed to step into this field. Modelling always gives you a chance to challenge and better yourself and learn multitudinous new skills which will help you thrive in all opportunities that come your way in the future. I haven’t decided yet about it being my full-time profession or part-time, but I believe in myself and I know that I will be able to portray myself to my absolute ability in whatever I choose.
What was your reaction when you came to know that you were selected for Neutral View Mr &Ms Goa 2018?
When I got to know about my selection for Neutral View Mr &Ms Goa 2018, I was filled with exuberance and verve. Being selected on the day of the auditions was something that I totally did not anticipate and so, was cock-a-hoop on hearing the news.
Have you participated in pageants before this?
I haven’t participated in any major pageants as yet, and so, this happens to be my first step at a major level but I have participated in minor fashion contests in college and won titles.
How important is winning this pageant for you?
Winning this title is of utmost significance and value to me as this will help me proliferate my self-esteem, inspire the people around me and voice out the unheard feelings in the society.
If you win Neutral View Miss Goa, you will get a direct entry to Rubaru Miss India Elite, how are you preparing yourself?
Getting onto this very platform of Neutral View Mr & Miss Goa itself is my first step in the process of preparation. I believe that a true beauty queen requires the ability to be able to understand the people around her and strengthen her bonds with them, and so, efficient communication skills and non-verbal cues is something that I am focusing upon.
Are you feeling any pressure?
Definitely, I am feeling the pressure because I’m one of the youngest contestants here.
Your biggest support in life
My biggest support and strength is my mother. She has always been my epitome of success and excellence and an example of love and compassion to me.
Any quote or saying that has a profound impact on you
“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.” This is that one quote that keeps that spark of positivity within me and keeps me going.
Any message for your friends and well-wishers
My sincere gratitude goes out to all those who’ve pushed me forward every time I’ve thought of stepping back. I need your love and support throughout this journey. And I hope I make you all proud.
