TNV: When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?
JA: I am into modelling for 6 months. Before that, I Was working as a HR with Manohar foods since 5
years. & then I quit my job to become a model.
TNV: Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?
JA: I’m not a regular or average 9.am to 5.00 pm person. I want to explore myself. I always wanted to become a model. Whenever I saw any model I knew that I could do better.
TNV: Tell us about your first assignment. if any How did it happen? What was the experience like?
JA: My 1st assignment was with Rubaru Mr South India International. One morning my girl friend woke me up & ask me to attend the audition at Bangalore at Gold’s Gym. & Luckily I was selected and got an opportunity to visit Chennai for my 1st assignment with Rubaru Mr South India International. I was really very happy to be a part of the whole event.
TNV: What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?
JA: I think a good model should be a combination of a good face, a good body & a great attitude. I considered that I have everything in me.
TNV: Why Rubaru Mr India when there is so many local pageants happening?
JA: Rubaru India is a great Platform we get good exposure & great opportunity and also trustworthy. Rubaru has managed 16 years of legacy. Which no other pageants have.
TNV: Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?
JA: It’s a dream of every model to be a part of Mr India. I was always working towards it and as a result of
hard work I got this opportunity.
TNV: Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?
JA: I workout for 3 hours a day every day. Improving my communication skills. I watch videos of successful models to take inspirations.
TNV: What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?
JA: I don’t want to compare my self with others. I don’t know others and when it comes to me. I’m very
Punctual. I love to participate in all the tasks & complete them successfully.
TNV: How will winning the Mr. India pageant will go to affect your life?
JA: I will be recognised as a celebrity from a normal person. I hope it gives me a lot of recognization
and it’s will be a lifetime achievement.
TNV: What are your views on ‘save girl child campaign’?
JA: We need to start educating kids in the school itself. Even we need to educate people working in big companies as I observe these things are happening more in urban cities than in rural areas.
