Tell us something about yourself
Well, I am a very optimistic person and I truly believe in looking at things in a positive way. With a post-graduate degree in Science, I am also a passionate dancer and a certified scuba diver as well.
What inclined you towards modelling? and are you looking forward to it as a full-time profession?
I believe fashion is a deep hidden passion of mine. To be a model it takes more than just a pretty face and a good physique. I think modelling is an expressive art form and it tells a story without words. You can show movement in a still picture. I think it is incredible to be able to have that skill. This is what fascinated me towards this art. As I have always mentioned, I am here as a contestant and not a model. I am here to learn from the best mentors. Being my first pageant, it will be too early for me to comment on taking modelling as a full-time profession.
What was your reaction when you came to know that you were selected for Neutral View Mr & Ms Goa 2018?
I was overwhelmed to hear that decision. I needed to share this happiness with everyone I could. I called my mom first and I still remember her scream. That was the happiest moment.
How important is winning this pageant for you?
I strongly believe if you don’t see yourself as a winner than you cannot perform as a winner.
If you win Neutral View Mr Goa you will get a direct entry to Rubaru Mr India, how are you preparing yourself?
Bringing pride and honour to one’s state is every man’s dream. How excited can one be to represent his very own state at such an amazing platform? I have always believed in 3 ‘P’s i.e Preparation, Practice and Perfection. These are going to be my mantra for Rubaru Mr. India. In addition, how can we forget the 3 Amazing mentors: Rahila Ma’am, Olga Ma’am and Newton Sir.
Are you feeling any pressure?
Yes, I am. But, I believe pressure can burst a pipe or pressure can make a diamond. It all depends on us how we take it. So, presently I am facing a positive pressure.

Do not wait, the time will never be “Just Right”. Start where you stand and work with whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along.
