Valpoi (Goa): In what can symbolize the prowess of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane over Sattari, all the 13 panchayats in this taluka had its sarpanch and deputy elected unopposed.

The elections for the sarpanchas and deputy across the state was held today. Sattari taluka however carved a bright figure with all the 13 panchayats being held by BJP. This is first time that BJP is having its hold over these panchayats, thanks to entry of Vishwajit Rane in the party.

“People of Sattari are determined to be with BJP during upcoming by-poll. They have seen work of the party and the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Rane reacted.

All the sarpanchas from this constituency getting elected unopposed has been a major achievement for BJP which is currently heading the government.
