TNV: Tell us something about yourself.
MR: I’m Merwin Rosario , I’m 19 years old. I am currently pursuing my graduation in Mass Communication . I love travelling and exploring new dishes and places. I love photography and going for photoshoots.
TNV: What inclined you towards modelling ? Are you looking forward to it as a full-time
profession?
MR: It’s the clothes that made me love fashion so that’s what inclined me for modelling ,as models walking for various designers for different shows made me love modelling more. Yes if I get to walk for various designers and shows for their clothing I would love to and would keep it as a full time profession.
TNV: What was your reaction when you came to know that you were selected for Stellar Mr & Miss Goa 2020?
MR: I was really happy when I came to know I’m in. It’s first time that I will be walking the ramp and it’s a great feeling being a part of the show.
TNV: Have you participated in pageants before this?
MR: No I haven’t participated before, this is my first time.
TNV: How important winning this pageant is for you?
MR: For me it’s really important as I want people to know me and this will make my parents proud that I achieved something big at this age. And I want to be an inspiration to those who think they aren’t good for modelling and don’t have what they need . I want people to be proud of me and want people to be as happy as me and specially those who told me to go for modelling.
TNV: Are you feeling any pressure?
MR: Yes I am feeling a lot of it and nervous as it’s a big platform and I’ve never walked before like the others.
TNV: Your biggest support in life?
MR: My biggest support is my mom who has always backed me up . Today whatever and where ever I am is because of her. And my mom is not just my mother but my friend as well as because she’s my support and she’s always there when I need her.
TNV: Any quote or saying that has profound impact on you?
MR: Be yourself and do what you love to!
TNV: Any message for your friends and well wishers?
MR: Thank you so much for being there and supporting me. Thanks to those who told me that I should go into modelling, thanks a lot to those who were there and supported me.
