IAS P Krishnamurthy is appointed as Principal Secretary, while IAS Ashok Kumar will be the Secretary to the Goa Chief Minister with immediate effect.
The State government today reallocated the departments to its secretaries.
Krishnamurthy will also hold additional charge of Pr. Resident Commissioner, New Delhi and Kumar is also appointed as Director, Municipal Administration and Member Secretary, GSUDA
IAS office Daulat Hawaldar will hold some of the key government departments like the Mines and Geology, Environment, Forest, Education apart from holding the existing finance department. Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is the Minister for all these departments
IAS Ameya Abhyankar , who was holding charge as special secretary (Budget) for over last three-four years, is now been replaced by IAS Isha Khosla, who will be also officer on special duty (OSD) on infrastructure project in Chief Minister’s office.
Abhyankar is the Secretary for Goa Public Service Commission, Information Technology and Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment Society of Goa
Chief Secretary IAS Dharmendra Sharma will hold PWD, Transport, Vigilance, Home, Tourism and Personnel Departments.
IAS officer Sudhir Mahajan, will be holding charge of Urban Development, Industries, Trade and Commerce, Revenue, Law Judiciary and Legislative Affairs, Information and Publicity, Institute of Public Assistance and Provedoria.
IAS B.R. Singh is the Secretary for Health, Housing, Town and Country Planning, Sports and Youth Affairs, Agriculture, Women and Child Development, Craftsmen Training and Skill Development and General Administration.
IAS W.V. Ramanmurthy will be the Secretary for Co-operation, Social Welfare, Civil Aviation and Protocol Department, whereas IAS Padma Jaiwal will be the Secretary for Public Grievances, NRI Affairs, Official Language, Member Secretary of Goa State Commission for Backward Classes and Member Secretary of Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
IAS Govind Jaiswal is the Secretary for Ports, River Navigation, Fisheries, Sp. Secretary (Vigilance) and Legal Metrology.
IAS Sanjay Goel will be dealing with Power, Non Conventional Energy, Panchayat, Rural Development Agency, Nodal Officer for ODF and Swatch Bharat Mission and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.
IAS P.S. Reddy is the new Secretary for Administrative Reforms, WRD, Labour and Employment, Factories and Boilers, Tribal Welfare, Gazetteer and Handicrafts, Textiles and Coir.
IAS Rupesh Kumar Thakur is appointed as the Secretary to Governor, along with holding departments like Museum, Archaeology, Archives, Printing and Stationery and Civil Supplies.
