MUMBAI: PNG Jewellers announced its second edition of the one act play competition ‘Dajikaka Gadgil Karandak’ celebrated to commemorate the founder Late Shri Dajikaka Gadgil, who took great pride in promoting art & culture. It is a Maharashtra State Level competition, the participation entry forms for which will be available at all PNG Jewellers outlets including Pune, Mumbai, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad and Goa starting from August 5, 2017.
‘Dajikaka Gadgil Karandak’ is organised in joint association with PNG Jewellers, Pineapple Expression Studio and Maitree Productions. The initiative aims to encourage artists to experiment with their creativity by presenting diversified subjects.
The preliminary rounds will be conducted in between September 11 to 21, including Pune, Mumbai,
Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad and Goa. The final rounds will be conducted between September 25-26 in Pune. The best teams from these locations will be selected by the panel of expert jury, and there will be category awards given to 1 Writer, 1 Director, 1 Actor (Female & Male), 1 Producer, 1 Art Director & Lights Expert. The winners will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 1 Lakh for first place, Rs 75000 for the second place and Rs 51,000 for the third place.
