PUNE – Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC) is celebrated the eighth edition of its Annual Cultural Fest, TROIKA 2018 from January 15th to January 17th, 2018 at its campus in Deccan. With a participation of over 3000 people and a foothold of 8000 people, TROIKA has become one of Pune City’s biggest College Fest for a reason and also comes with bearing a social cause – Happiness to, of and for all.
The first day saw a tremendous action beginning with Quiz competition followed by Debate participation. One of the newest events included on the first day of TROIKA 2018 was Poetry Slam and Super Cars Show that attracted many viewers at the event making it the highlight of the show. It showcased a range of super cars like Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, Mini Copper and Mustang. A vintage model of Impala was also exhibited there that gave the audiences a spectacular experience.
The second day at TROIKA 2018 began with the same enthusiasm. The day began with an Entertainment Quiz followed by Treasure Hunt and Mock Stock – a virtual stock market game that involved testing the students for their marketing abilities. A lot of sports activities like Box Cricket and Football also took place.
All new concept of IPL Auction was also introduced this year. It was a replica of the actual IPL Auction where the students virtually bid for their respective IPL teams. Other than this, 25 kids from a NGO called Bookwala were also welcomed at BMCC with the spirit of goodness. These children were kept involved and entertained at TROIKA 2018 by exhibiting a movie and magic show. Lunch was also organized for these kids who seemed very overwhelmed and extremely happy with their experience.
At the last day of TROIKA 2018, Football and Dance witnessed huge numbers of participation as well as footfall for all. The closing ceremony saw Mr Umesh Kulkarni as the Chief Guest, who inspired everyone with his brilliance. BMCC’s Fashion team also performed for the expectant crowd and the audiences were enthralled getting the fest for a perfect end. Overall, TROIKA 2018 achieved greater heights and overwhelming response.
A plethora of people coming together to compete as well as socialize and leave with the illuminating spirit of Troika is what BMCC aimed to fulfill this year.
