Panaji (Goa): National Award winning Marathi film ‘Ringan’ will hit the screens on June 30, 2017. Due to lack of distribution means and channels, audiences remain deprived from some unique films. The most recent names to join the list are ‘Kaasav’, ‘Dashakriya’, ‘Halala’ etc.  Another such film, which has been on this list for over a year, is ‘Ringan’. But Ringan has successfully broken this vicious circle and is being made ready for release.

The film is a father-son journey in pursuit of happiness and love. Ringan has been honored with many awards and accolades. It won the Best Marathi Film at the 63rd National Awards. In addition, the movie made its mark in renowned International Film Festivals like Cannes, Stuttgart, London, and Toronto.

After all the National and International recognition, the movie written and directed by Makarand Mane is now all set to be released.
