Panaji (Goa) MGP State President Deepak Dhavalikar today said that the party is working with an aim to win 21 seats in the next State assembly election thereby forming government on its own.

Dhavalikar said that the party is currently concentrating in 27 constituencies and will soon spread our wings in the balance 13 constituencies. “We will focus on all 40 constituencies. But our major focus would be on 27 seats,” he said.

“We want to form the next State government on its own, without any support. We are working to ensure that we get maximum 21 seats,” the former Minister said.

He said that the party has a strong political future in Goa and that many new faces as well as leaders from other political fronts are willing to join the party. “In days to come, you will see more and more people joining the party including some leaders from other political parties,” he said.
