PWD minister Sudin Dhavaikar has said that the state government will be sending a delegation of ministers to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week to discuss the mining issue.

The decision to send a delegation of ministers was taken at the cabinet meeting on Thursday, Dhavalikar said.

Later in the evening GMPF (Goa Mining People’s Front) president Puti Gaonkar spoke to CM Parrikar, who said that only the PM can resolve the issue.
