Junior Chamber International president Marc Brian Lim from the Philippines during his official review visit to Goa appointed industrialist and philanthropist Narayan Rajaram Bandekar as the chief mentor and Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant as the chief patron of the JCI World Congress 2018 to be organised in Goa from October 30 to November 3, 2018.
Speaking on the occasion, JCI president Lim appealed to every citizen of Goa to get associated with hosting of the world congress for the love of their state as the event had very high potential to change the tourism industry of the state considering the fact that noted that 3500 delegates from over 120 countries were expected to visit the state during the congress.
Nana Bandekar is an honorary member of JCI Vasco and Dr Pramod Sawant is an honorary member of JCI Sanquelim.
The JCI India national president Arpit Hathi, Congress Organising Committee chairman Ashrafali Nizari, zone president from Goa Yogesh Kerkar, were present on the occasion, a statement here on Thursday said.
