Miss World Beauty Queen India 2018 Agrima Grover who also represented India at the world beauty queen 2018 held recently in South Korea is a confident young lady everybody wants to know about, team TNV spoke to her about her journey and her international experience.

First of all congratulations to you for receiving this prestigious title. How does it feel?
Thank you so much! It feels amazing. This is one moment I always dreamt of. Being able to live this dream, it is a blessing for me.

Were you expecting something like to this happen?
I was not at all over confident but I had worked really hard for this platform and hence I knew my hard work wouldn’t go in vain.

Rubaru Group is often regarded as one of the most well-established beauty pageant organizations in India. How does it feel to get associated with the organization?
It feels amazing to be a part of Rubaru family. This platform had always been a dream. I always wanted to represent India at an international beauty pageant and I can’t thank Rubaru group enough for turning this dream into a reality!

How has your journey been so far with the Rubaru Group and Rubaru Miss India Elite Organization?

The journey has been one of a kind! Even after my international pageant, I feel connected to the organization simply because of the warmth and love I got as a winner. I feel grateful to be a part of an organization that is lead by such down to earth and optimistic people.

How was your experience when you went for your international pageant?
My experience was a wonderful one. Though I could not win the title for India but I was amazed to see so much support coming from my people and my country. I also won a cosmetic care subtitle Miss World Beauty Queen Ivoub. For 15 days, nobody cared what my name was and I was just called as ‘Miss India’. This was such a beautiful feeling! This experience will always stay very close to my heart.

How did you prepare for the international pageant?
Though I did not have much time to prepare as my international pageant was just one month away when I won the national title, yet I worked on my grooming and fitness in whatever way possible. I practiced my walk in front of the mirror, made sure I am up to date with what’s going on around the world and prepared my wardrobe. Rubaru group helped me to finalize my outfits and dresses. They also provided my national costume and evening gown for the finale of my international pageant.

Any quote or saying that has a profound impact on you.
There’s a Sanskrit quote ‘Yogah karmasu kaushalam’ which means ‘strive for excellence’. This was my school’s motto and as I am moving forward in life, this quote is making more and more sense to me. It always inspires me to do better and achieve more. Even when I couldn’t win the title for India, I reminded myself of this quote and made sure that I continue to work harder and strive for excellence in order to be prepared for bigger platforms.

Your biggest support in life.
I have always been taught to believe that a person should be his/her own greatest support system. My vision and my dreams have always motivated me to stand up again every time I fall and hence I’d consider them as my biggest support. Though I have been very fortunate to have wonderful and inspiring people around me. My friends and family have always been strong pillars in my journey.

Any advice for the individuals who want to enter this fascinating word of beauty pageants and modelling.
I would suggest individuals to be prepared and hone their skills right before entering the industry as this always helps one to stand out from the crowd and shine brighter. It’s very important for one to maintain growth without losing their own individuality.

Any message for your well-wishers and supporters?
I would like to thank each and every person who has been a part of my journey till now. I am overwhelmed with all the love through your comments and messages. Keep loving me and supporting me because I aspire to achieve a lot more than this and make you guys proud!
