Panaji (Goa) Goa desk in-charge and AICC secretary Dr Chellakumar today said that the new State congress president will be announced in next ten days.
AICC secretary Girish Chodankar is currently leading the race as his candidature seems to be fully backed by AICC, which is the final deciding authority.
Chellakumar this morning arrived in Goa and is currently holding series of meeting with the MLAs, Pradesh congress committee members, seeking their views on the next PCC president.
“I am meeting the GPCC members and also CLP. I will submit my report to party president Rahul Gandhi who will take final decision. The announcement will come in next ten days,” Chellakumar said.
