Minister for Labour Rohan Khaunte has said that Employment cards can now be applied online and the ones who have already registered should update their data.

Khaunte also said that both, new and old, registrants will get smart cards and their education as well as work experience data will be available inside the card.

Stating that the cardholder don’t need to carry certificates while going for an interview, Khaunte further said that employers will also get schemes through this card.

The minister has announced that online forms should be filled before 28th February.
