Panaji (GOA) NO need to stand in queue or travel all along the departmental head offices to file your complaints. The Government has brought the grievance redressal system to your doorstep.
The Manohar Parrikar led government today morning launching single-window online portal where public can register their complaints anytime towards any government department and are assured to be redressed within 30 days.
The online portal of Department of Public Grievance called the ‘Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS)’ was launched this monring. The citizen may lodge their grievance at www.goaonline.gov.intowards any government department in the State and the same would be forwarded to the concern department online.
The system assures to address the complaints within 30 days. If the department fails to do so, the matter would be referred to the Chief Minister and the Concerned Principal Secretary for redressal within next 15 days. Chief Minister will personally monitor the complaints thereafter.
Chief Minister said that government intends to provide the citizens with a platform to redress their grievances. “The integration with time bound service delivery will ensure timely redressal of grievances,” he said.
Status updates of the grievance redressal will be intimated to the citizen via SMS and email and also will be available through the portal.
Total 58 departments have been trained and are on board. On an average, the Public Grievance department receives 15-17 complaints monthly.
