The National Students Union of India (NSUI) president Ahraz Mulla today slammed the Goa University due to the delay in declaring the re-evaluation results of law students.
In a press release issued, the NSUI said that, “when 14 days are left for the examination, the Goa University announced the re-evaluation results of law students which shows the mismanagement and inefficiency of the University, the rule says that the results have to be declared within 60 days.”
“After a constant follow up from our NSUI members from VM Salgaonkar Law college Prasenjeet Dhage, Alvaro Ferrao and Naushad the University declared the results, but the problem does not end here. The careless attitude of the University has been seen time and again, there is a delay in the entire functioning of the university, from convocation certificates to revaluation of results and it’s been in a mess under the present Vice Chancellor Varun Sahni,” reads the press note.
The NSUI has demanded CM Manohar Parrikar to look into this matter with prime importance claiming that the education system in Goa is deteriorating day by day due to the careless attitude of the University.
