Goa Tourism Minister Manohar Azgaonkar informed State Legislative Assembly on Thursday that all religious structures which are more than 100 years old and having tourism potential will be identified for development and beautification, subject to availability of funds.
In a written reply in response to a question tabled by Deepak Pauskar, the Minister said, ”The Tourism Department intends to promote cultural and heritage tourism in the state and hence all religious structures which are more than 100 years old and having tourism potential will be identified for development and beautification, subject to availability of funds and after obtaining all permissions and NOC’s (no objection certificates) from the concerned authorities.
