Panaji (Goa) Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar landed at New York around 5.30 p.m. today from where he headed for the hospital. Government of India’s Embassy in the USA has made full proof arrangement to ensure that Parrikar is given proper treatment.

Sources stated that Prime Minister’s Office has been personally monitoring the treatment given to Parrikar on regular basis. Two officials from Embassy have been assigned the duty to take health updates about Parrikar from the Hospital and inform PMO in Delhi.

Parrikar had left for the USA last night at 1.30 a.m. in Air India flight accompanied by his elder son, Utpal and a doctor. Both of them are expected to stay with Parrikar during his entire medical treatment.

The Indian Embassy in the USA had stationed an ambulance to take Parrikar after his arrival at New York airport. But Parrikar’s health was stable. It was not clear whether Parrikar went by Ambulance or Car to the hospital.
