Panaji (Goa) In a very emotional message, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar thanked the people of Goa for their love, affection and wishes that helped him to revise his health and stand before the people to present the State Budget.

Parrikar today afternoon tabled the State Budget 2018-19 on the Floor of the House. In his introductory remark, Chief Minister was full of emotions and teary eye as he thanked the MLAs for all the support.

“With all humility, I would like to say that support, love and well wishes of not only my MLAs but also lakhs of Goans, leaders of religious communities, I stand by you allwith revise health to present the State Budget,” he said.

Later Chief Minister’s office in a press statement issued on behalf of Parrikar has said “I am overwhelmed by the over pouring of your love and affection. It fortifies my conviction that Goa and Goans are my extended family”.

Parrikar has said that for his complete recovery, I have been advised by the doctors some precautions in the immediate short term. “During this period my interaction with the public will be limited,” he said.

“However, I will be discharging my regular duties and obligations as the Chief Minister of the State,” he said.
