Deputy Speaker and Calangute MLA Michael Lobo has said that senior police officers in the state are more focussed on deputing entire police force for issuing challans to traffic violators while crime is on the rise. 

” Theft cases are already on a rise and shortly murder will be common. The Home Secretary and the Chief Minister are also responsible for this situation,” Lobo said. 

Requesting cabinet ministers to take some measures on rising crime, Michael has expressed disappointment over a unsolved wine shop theft in his constituency.
