PUBLIC SERVICE GUARANTEE ACT TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN TOTO FROM APRIL 1, CM

Panaji (Goa) Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today announced that the public service guarantee act will be implemented in toto from April 1.

 “Act will be notified in toto across all departments from April 1. Currently it is partially operational,” Chief Minister said.

Government has brought over 497 public services of 40 departments under the ambit of the Act, which was introduced in 2013.

The department of public grievances has notified various public services which are mostly related to the common man in connection with various certificates, permissions, disbursement of claims and compensations, no objections certificates so on and so forth, which should be provided in a time bound manner.
