Pune : Officials of the Pune government railway police(GRP) nabbed a persons involved in several incidents of theft. The arrested accused is been identified as Arun Thakur(29).According to information given by Police inspector Sanjay Satav, the accused was involved in stealing ornaments and belongings of railway passengers inside the train. “The accused was traced and nabbed on June 29. Following investigations revealed his involvement in the theft case. On June 20, he had stolen ornaments from bag of a Krishnaji Dehumukh in Mahalakshmi express” added Satav.
Assistant police inspector Mahesh Bolkotgi said that stolen ornaments worth Rs 2.2 lakh is been recovered from the accused.”Thakur is a history sheeter and was arrested in 2014 by GRP. He was also in jail for a period of 13 months.” added Bolkotgi.
