Pune – Independent representatives (IRs) of Direct Selling company QNET are marking the start of the festive season by coming together, nationwide, to raise money for less privileged communities around the country. Around 100 young entrepreneurs, who run a successful direct selling business with QNET, have pledged between INR 1 lakh to INR 5 lakhs per city towards important causes benefiting a local community in need. This is the third year these QNET IRs are initiating such an exercise during the festival season to reinforce their commitment to helping their communities.
Funds raised by the group this year will be used to help orphanages, homes for the disabled and the elderly, and for children in need of life-saving medical treatment. The first initiative is being launched in Mumbai at the Jupiter Lifeline Hospital where the group is sponsoring heart surgery for 5 children from low-income families.
The group has planned 24 other such charitable initiatives in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Bhubneshwar, Hubli, Mangalore, Mysore, Patna, Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Jammu and Meerut, between 6 and 18 October 2017.
“We have been fortunate to find our path and purpose with QNET which has helped us transform, not only our lives, but the lives of those around us. Giving back to our community during this auspicious festival season is our way of paying it forward.” said Mr. Jaspal Singh who leads the effortof the group in Pune.
Commenting on the effort, QNET Global CEO Trevor Kuna said, “The initiative undertaken by our IRs in their individual capacity is truly encouraging. QNET’s underlying philosophy of RYTHM – Raise Yourself To help Mankind – is the force that drives a lot of what we do. It is a reflection of our business, which is about empowering people to take control of their lives, so that they can, in turn, help empower their communities. After all, there is no better feeling than doing well while you are doing good.”
Most recently, QNET partnered with the Cancer Patients Aid Association in Mumbai to support the treatment of children with cancer from low-income families. QNET has also contributed significantly towards the Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya campaign by partnering with the Lions Club in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad on a number of projects including clean drinking water, nutrition education and health camps for children.
