I am contracted to one of the Sports association to work with them as Coach for next 3 years. I have not signed any bond paper. I have sworn an affidavit pledging my services to them. I want to discontinue as I am going abroad. Will this action lend me in any legal trouble?
ANSWER: If you have an agreement or contract with the Association to work for 3 years for which you are paid consideration than your performance towards that agreement should be honoured by you. You can very well give a notice of revocation or termination of your commitment and indemnifying the Association of any losses can be mutually worked by both the parties. There should not be any legal trouble for you if you take up the proper course.
