RAINS PLAY SPOIL SPORTS, POLLING PACE SLOWS DOWN

Panaji (Goa): Rains played spoil sport in several parts of the state for ongoing panchayat poll process.

The election which started at slow pace had picked up during the morning.

But the rains that began around 10.30 am again slowed the election pace.

The queues that were seen during the morning suddenly disappeared.

The flying squads of state election commission was seen asking the candidates to stay 100 metres away from the booth.
